CORTINA D'AMPEZZO

In Cortina d’Ampezzo it will be possible to ski during the Games

EXPLORE

The slopes remain open to tourists

During the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, ski enthusiasts will be able to continue enjoying the mountains without worries.

Only a few slopes dedicated to the Olympic races – such as the Olympia delle Tofane and the Labirinti – will be closed, while most of the slopes and lifts will remain regularly open.

The ski areas open during the Games

Skiers will have access to the main ski areas of the Ampezzo basin and the surrounding Dolomites:

  • 5 Torri
  • Col Gallina
  • Lagazuoi
  • Faloria / Cristallo
  • San Vito di Cadore
  • Auronzo / Misurina

The Olympia chairlift (Pocol) and the Skyline cable car will also be in operation, ensuring convenient connections and perfectly groomed slopes.

Mobility and services guaranteed

To make travel easier, dedicated car passes will be introduced and public transport and ski bus services will be enhanced. All tourist services – hotels, restaurants, shops, rentals, and activities – will remain fully operational to offer a complete and enjoyable experience.

After the Games: everything reopens

From March 16, 2026, at the end of the Paralympic Games, all slopes and lifts will once again be accessible without restrictions. Cortina will once again confirm its title as the Queen of the Dolomites, ready to offer unforgettable emotions on the snow throughout the season.
